THE TRAITORS' CLUB
“
This book is absolutely fabulous! I have been involved with the Cyprus Problem as an academic and on the island since 1997. This book is the only material I have read that brings the problem down to the level of civil society on each side of the Green Line. It exposes really what is at stake by dealing with the tragic story lived by people at the ground level of Cypriot society. If those with the power to make meaningful changes would take the time to read and heed this memoir, perhaps the problem might be resolved at last.

"This book is very special to me. It is brilliant at explaining Cyprus' political history. It helped me to overcome a lifelong prejudice towards the Turks, who I blamed for taking away my life, our home, our boat. The book makes it very clear that this is a war waged on both sides for a very long time. I would like to be in the Traitors' Club!"

"What a wonderful book! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Conveys what it's like to be living with the Cyprus problem on a day-to-day basis, how it is woven into the texture of our lives. Great job!"

“This is a gem that illuminates. I love the way writer and illustrator have worked together to produce an accessible panoramic history. I learnt a lot of new things. It's written very cleverly to be easy reading across the age spectrum and that style clearly works.”

“This is the only history book I read from beginning to end. And understood it.”
